GENERAL MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF SALES APPOINTED FOR NEW FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES HOTEL IN TEXAS
Two Internal Candidates Promoted to Lead Growth in Austin Market

AUSTIN, TX (February 19, 2009) – White Lodging of Merrillville, IN has announced the appointments of Kim Gagnon as General Manager and AnneRenee Lane as Director of Sales for the new Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Austin North/Parmer Lane hotel slated to open April 2009.  

As general manager, Gagnon will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel.  She joined White Lodging in 2000 as operations manager of the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Austin Central.  She took over as Assistant General Manager at the SpringHill Suites Austin South property before accepting her first General Manager role at the Residence Inn Austin South in 2006.  A dedicated professional, Gagnon continues to excel at expanding her professional career in various hotel brands.

In her role, Lane will recruit and lead group sales as well as direct sales efforts for transient and group rooms while maintaining client and community relationships.  She joined White Lodging in 2004 as the front desk manager at the Courtyard Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile.  She moved to Austin in 2005 to take over the role of cluster sales manager at the Courtyard and Fairfield Inn Austin Central.  In 2006, she was promoted to senior cluster sales manager and was recognized by both White Lodging as Sales Manager of the Year and Marriott International as Sales Team of the Year.  She recently was promoted to director of sales of all the Austin/Parmer Lane Cluster hotels.
