WHITE LODGING RESTRUCTURES FIELD OPERATIONS FOR MAXIMUM IMPACT
Ransone & Laskaris Named New Regional Vice Presidents

MERRILLVILLE, IN   (May 1, 2009) – White Lodging has appointed Steve Ransone and Tina Laskaris as regional vice presidents for the leading hospitality management company.  Ransone and Laskaris will oversee the financial and operational performance of hotels within their regions.

With properties in seventeen states, White Lodging has restructured its existing eight regions and added two more, bringing the total to ten currently.  Each region is headed by a regional vice president and is based on the location of cluster hotels found throughout the different states and developments slated within each area. 

“We have added the new regions in an effort to reduce territory size to a level where our regional vice presidents have the time to ensure we are maximizing the value of every asset we manage,” stated Jon Peck, Chief Operating Officer of White Lodging’s Hospitality Management Division.  “We fully realize what we are doing is counter intuitive in this economy, however we believe the investment made will result in achieving our mission of maximizing the value of every asset and driving us toward of vision of becoming the highly desired management company in the business.”

As regional vice president of region 10, Ransone will oversee properties located throughout Indiana and Ohio.  His most recent position with the company was vice president of talent acquisition – leading a high performing recruitment and retention effort to find the right team players for open roles.  His career with the company began as the GM of the Courtyard Indianapolis Downtown and evolved to include:

• cluster responsibilities for the Courtyard Capitol and the Residence Inn Canal
• opening director of human resources at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown 
• general manager of the Courtyard Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile. 

His accomplishments have been recognized through numerous awards not only by White Lodging but Marriott International as well including the distinguished Marriott Diamond Hotel and Diamond GM awards in 2006.

Laskaris joins the company to oversee hotels found in region 8, with hotels in Indiana and Michigan.  Tina brings a strong sales background along with multi-unit and multi-brand experience.  She joins White Lodging from her most recent position as regional director of operations for Island Hospitality, overseeing brands including Hilton and Residence Inn.  She also spent time as general manager of multiple Hampton Inns in Chicago and Maryland markets, as well as GM of the Residence Inn O’hare.
