GENERAL MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF SALES NAMED FOR
HILTON GARDEN INN SCHAUMBURG OPENING THIS FALL
MERRILLVILLE, IN (August 05, 2008) – White Lodging announced today that Rocky Wruck has been appointed as general manager and Lucy Raymond as director of sales for the new Hilton Garden Inn Schaumburg (1191 Woodfield Rd., Schaumburg, Ill.). The 166-room hotel, currently under construction, is scheduled to open in November 2008.
Owned and managed by White Lodging, the Hilton Garden Inn Schaumburg represents another addition to the company’s growing collection of more than 134 hotels in seventeen states across North America and their ambitious growth plan to add more than 100 hotels to its portfolio over the next five years.
Wruck, 35, joined the White Lodging team in January 1996 as sales manager at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Ind., and later accepted a position as director of sales at the Residence Inn by Marriott Houston/Galleria and was promoted to the post of general manager of the hotel in 2000. In 2001, Wruck moved to the Chicago area where he worked as opening general manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Schaumburg, Ill., and most recently served as opening general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Schaumburg, Ill. He has received numerous accolades throughout his career including recognition as Marriott International’s 2005 Courtyard Opening GM of the Year.

Raymond, 27, will continue to serve as cluster director of sales for the 3 hotels in Schaumburg, Ill, taking on additional responsibility for the Hilton Garden Inn. She joined White Lodging as an intern in 2002 and has held numerous sales and marketing positions within the company, including work as senior sales manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicago. In 2005, Raymond was awarded White Lodging’s prestigious Sales Manager of the Year Award.
“Lucy possesses several years of sales experience within the hospitality industry as well as an extensive knowledge of the Schaumburg area,” Sibley says. “Based on her exceptional record in sales and customer service we feel that she will be influential in ensuring the success of this great new hotel.”
When completed, the new Hilton Garden Inn Schaumburg will provide guests with a full complement of services and amenities including complimentary high-speed Internet access, a 24-hour executive business center, HD flat screen televisions, an indoor swimming pool and exercise room.
