The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) introduced its 2025 officers, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors, a list encompassing some of the most respected names in the hotel industry – including White Lodging CEO Jean-Luc Barone, who will now serve on the AHLA Board of Directors.
Barone joins an esteemed group of leaders from all sectors of the lodging industry, including brands, owners, real estate investment trusts (REITs), management companies, branded properties, independent hotels, and state associations.
He also currently serves as a board member of the AHLA Foundation Board of Trustees, which aims to support and elevate those who work in the hotel industry through career development programs, scholarship initiatives and more.
Other notable AHLA appointments include: Vision Hospitality Group Founder and CEO Mitch Patel will lead the board of directors as chair; Marriott International Group President, U.S. & Canada Liam Brown will serve as vice chair; Davidson Hospitality Group CEO & President Thom Geshay will serve as secretary/treasurer; and Hilton Supply Management President & Global Head Anu Saxena will serve as chair of the AHLA Foundation Board of Trustees.
