For more than two decades, JD Power has measured hotel guest satisfaction in North America. For the first time, JD Power used the data from the annual North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index to benchmark the largest third-party management companies (with more than 14,000 rooms under management).
White Lodging ranked number four in the list of 11 leading third-party management companies, with only a two-point gap to the top ranking.
“Guest satisfaction differentiates us from our competitors in good times, and even more during this COVID-19 pandemic,” said Chris Anderson, chief commercial officer. “Each guest touch point, from the moment they find us on the internet or make that call, to the time they leave the property, is an opportunity to show why White Lodging is the best – and has the best associates – in the industry.”
The survey captures satisfaction ratings across the entire stay experience. It analyzes guest responses to more than 150 questions and benchmarks the performance of 102 brands across six market segments. This year’s study is based on responses from 37,843 hotel guests for stays between May 2019 and March 2020.
“Third-party operators that employ great talent are best-equipped to provide excellent guest experiences across limited-service and full-service hotels alike,” said Andrew Stokes, hospitality practice lead at J.D. Power.
